Esprit Elite Ballet Program

Led by Master Ballet Teacher, Joey-Lynn Mann

The Esprit Elite Ballet Program is an invite-based, advanced training opportunity for serious ballet students who want to elevate their technique, artistry, discipline, and performance experiences.

Under the guidance of Master Ballet Teacher Joey-Lynn Mann, dancers receive high-level classical training, small-group coaching, and unique performance opportunities throughout the season.

Who This Program Is For

  • Dancers seeking more rigorous classical ballet training
  • Students wanting pointe preparation or progression (as appropriate)
  • Dancers motivated to improve technique, discipline, and artistry
  • Those looking for select performance or competition experiences
  • Esprit or outside dancers willing to commit to consistent training

Placement is determined through teacher evaluation during your drop-in class.


Levels & Age Divisions

Dancers are placed into one of the following levels:

  • Level 1 – Petite
    For our youngest or developing dancers working on foundational technique, posture, and musicality.
  • Level 2 – Junior
    Intermediate dancers refining technique, strength, flexibility, and early or pre-pointe skills.
  • Level 3 – Senior
    Advanced dancers focusing on nuances, pointe, complex combinations, and performance artistry.

Final placement is determined by Ms. Joey-Lynn and the Esprit faculty after your first drop-in session.


Program Structure & Training Focus

Specialized Ballet Training

  • Classical ballet technique
  • Pointe and pre-pointe (as appropriate)
  • Artistry and musicality

Enrichment Education

  • Ballet history
  • Choreography workshops
  • Creative process and rehearsal etiquette

Private Group Training

  • Weekly small-group classes by level
  • Focused corrections and technical refinement

Solo & Small Group Coaching (Optional)

  • Biweekly solo coaching (by invitation)
  • Solo/duet/trio choreography and coaching
  • Additional 30- or 60-minute privates available upon request

Tuition & Pricing

Monthly Tuition

  • $100/month – Esprit Team Dancers
  • $150/month – Outside Dancers

Drop-In Rates

  • $35/class – Esprit Team Dancers
  • $45/class – Outside Dancers

Solo coaching and private lessons are priced separately.


Classical Ballet Dress Code

Maintaining a professional and unified appearance is essential for classical ballet training.

Leotards

  • Classical, solid-color leotards – Black preferred

Tights & Shoes

  • Pink full-foot tights
  • Pink ballet slippers
  • Pointe shoes for approved dancers

Hair & Grooming

  • Classical bun (neat, secure, with pins/hairnet)
  • Minimal to no jewelry
  • No watches, smart devices, or loose accessories

Warm-Ups

  • Allowed only at the beginning of class and must be removed when instructed

Tentative Class Schedule

Below is the projected schedule for the season. All dates are subject to adjustment or alteration based on enrollment/conflicts/etc. While attendance at all dates is preferred, we do understand absences must occur and only ask that you let us know if you will not be able to attend any particular dates.


Actual assignments depend on age, level placement, and enrollment.

November: 15 (1–5pm), 21 (4–8pm), 22 (1–5pm)
December: 12 (4–8pm), 13 (1–5pm)
January: 16 (4–8pm), 17 (1–5pm)
February: 13 (4–8pm), 14 (1–5pm), In-House Showcase: Feb 15 (7:30pm)
March: 3 (4–8pm), 4 (1–5pm), 26 (4–8pm), 28 (1–5pm)
April: 3 (4–8pm), 4 (1–5pm)
May: 1 (4–8pm), 2 (1–5pm), 22 (4–8pm), 23 (1–5pm)

Weekly Level Schedules

Fridays

  • 4:00–5:30 PM – Level 2
  • 5:30–6:30 PM – Level 1
  • 6:30–8:00 PM – Level 3

Saturdays/Sundays

  • 1:00–2:00 PM – Level 1
  • 2:00–3:30 PM – Level 2
  • 3:30–5:00 PM – Level 3

Performance Opportunities (Tentative / Growing)

Elite Ballet dancers may be considered for:

A dedicated performance evening highlighting Elite Ballet choreography and classical variations.

✨ Annual Recital & Studio Productions

Special ballet pieces choreographed exclusively for Elite Ballet students.

✨ Gala & Invitational Opportunities

Select dancers may be invited to perform at:

  • Seasonal galas
  • Ballet-focused events
  • Community showcases

✨ Competition & Convention Features

Potential opportunities for:

  • Elite Ballet group pieces
  • Solos, duets, and trios
  • Performance demonstrations

All performance selections are based on attendance, attitude, readiness, and teacher recommendation.


Private Lessons & Solo Coaching

Elite dancers may elect additional training including:

  • Solo Coaching (biweekly or as scheduled)
  • Variation Coaching
  • Pointe strengthening
  • Flexibility & conditioning sessions
  • 30- or 60-minute private lessons available by appointment

These sessions are tailored to each dancer’s unique goals.
