







Joey-Lynn Mann trained at the National Ballet of Canada and graduated from Pacific Northwest Ballet. She danced with Ballet Idaho and Nevada Ballet Theatre before joining Orlando Ballet, where she performed leading roles in various ballets, including “Carmen,” “The Nutcracker,” and “Sleeping Beauty.” As a Certified ABT Curriculum teAn ABT Certified Curriculum Teacher, Ms. Mann has been a valued educator and leader within the Orlando Ballet organization. She served on the faculty of Orlando Ballet School, directed the Children’s Cast for The Nutcracker, and led the Educational Outreach program in partnership with Orange County Public Schools. She also managed all professional company footwear as Shoe Coordinator and founded the first Boutique at Orlando Ballet, outfitting students with official school uniforms.acher, she was a faculty member at Orlando Ballet School and directed educational outreach programs. After retiring as a Principal dancer, she became Ballet Master and Assistant to the Artistic Director at Orlando Ballet. Now a freelance Ballet Master, she shares her expertise with dancers across the US and Canada while enjoying motherhood to her son, Jack, who plays ice hockey in Canada.
Ms. Mann began her ballet training at the National Ballet School of Canada and continued her studies at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, where she graduated from the Professional Division under the leadership of School and Artistic Director, Francia Russell. She later attended Boise State University, studying both Early Childhood Education and Dance.

Throughout her distinguished performing career, Ms. Mann danced leading roles in both classical and contemporary repertoire. Her notable performances include Carmen in Carmen, Swanhilda in Coppélia, Nikiya in La Bayadère, Lisein La Fille Mal Gardée, The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Kitri in Don Quixote, Bransale Gay in Balanchine’s Agon, First Violin in his Concerto Barocco, and Russian Girl and Dark Angel in Serenade, among many others.
Following her retirement as a principal dancer, Ms. Mann continued performing as a character artist and held the position of Ballet Master under Artistic Director Bruce Marks. She later served as Assistant to Artistic Director Robert Hill for over a decade, collaborating with world-renowned artists, overseeing rehearsals, scheduling productions, staging repertoire, and serving as répétiteur for numerous classical and contemporary works including Coppélia, Romeo and Juliet, The Firebird, Swan Lake, Giselle, and more.
Today, Ms. Mann continues to share her artistry and expertise as a freelance Ballet Master, teacher, coach, mentor, and consultantthroughout North America and Europe. Most recently, she served as Senior Ballet Mistress for Lexington Ballet, where she curated and directed a celebrated performance in France featuring a blend of classical and contemporary works, collaborations, and her own original choreography.
Beyond her work in ballet, Ms. Mann embraces her favorite role yet—“Hockey Mom” to her son, Jack, who attends the prestigious Stanstead College in Canada, pursuing his dream of playing Prep Ice Hockey.
