Hi Team Families,
As we head into one of the busiest and most important phases of our season, we want to clearly outline several updates, deadlines, and reminders. This time of year requires extra coordination, timely communication, and shared responsibility — and we truly appreciate your partnership as we support our dancers and the team as a whole.
Please read through the information below carefully, as it covers registration processes, solo policies, upcoming opportunities, and scheduling details that directly impact the weeks ahead.

🚨 TEAM MEETING – IMPORTANT 🚨
📅 Tuesday, January 27
⏰ 8:00–9:00 PM
This meeting is MANDATORY for Comp & Elite teams and highly recommended for all other team families.
If you are unable to attend, you must contact us in advance. Arrangements should be made to FaceTime with another team parent or trusted adult so you can still receive the information shared. This meeting will cover important seasonal updates and expectations moving forward.
📝 Optional Competitions & Conventions – REQUIRED PROCESS
All optional competitions, conventions, solos, and add-on events are requested through Jotform in the Esprit App.
This system allows the studio to:
• Invoice using the correct price at the time of payment
• Account for early bird, standard, and late registration deadlines
• Manage events that may increase in price or sell out
📌 Important:
Once an invoice is issued, payment should be submitted as soon as possible. Prices will increase, and events may sell out before a dancer can be registered if payment is delayed.
➡️ No registration is completed until payment is received.
💳 Account Status & Solo Registration Policy (Please Read Carefully)
Solo registrations — including solos for standard team competitions — will not be completed if there are past-due balances on required tuition or team fees.
This policy applies:
• Even when families are prepaying for solos
• Any payments received will first be applied to past-due required fees
• Solo registration will occur only after the account is fully current
At this point in the season, required convention and group competition fees are being paid on behalf of the team and must be covered before solo performances can be prioritized.
Families needing to discuss a payment arrangement are encouraged to reach out directly, but solo registrations will remain paused until required balances are resolved.
🎭 Solo & Private Lesson Booking – Current Process
At this time, solo and private lesson scheduling is being handled directly by Sonya.
• Sonya will reach out to dancers she plans to work with personally or assign to other instructors
• Dancers with past-due balances will not be contacted for solo or private lesson scheduling
• Parents do not need to log in to book solo or private lesson times right now
• If contacted for a solo or private lesson, payment must be submitted before the appointment, unless it is auto-drafted the same day
This helps keep solo scheduling intentional, organized, and aligned with required team obligations.
🔔 LAST CALL: EMBODY SOLO REGISTRATION
This is the final call to register for Embody Solos.
✨ Details:
• Solo Fee: $250
• Registration: Jotform link in the Esprit App
• Payment: Through the Parent Portal
📌 All dancers planning to perform a solo at Embody must register and pay.
• Embody Convention is required and included for all Comp & Elite dancers
• Solos will not be registered if required fees are past due
📣 Interest Check: Upcoming Competitions
Please notify the studio if a dancer is planning to attend any of the following optional events:
• Revel
• Inspire Orlando
• Groove Tampa
Jotforms for these events are not live yet. If any dancers are interested, a Jotform will be opened through the Esprit App.
📅 Monthly Rehearsal Calendar
The monthly rehearsal calendar is now available.
At this time, it includes only:
• Competitions
• Rehearsals scheduled for the 21st
Additional rehearsals will be added only if needed. Families should review the calendar and plan accordingly.
