Great start to our competition season—now let’s keep training, improving, and raising the bar every time we step on stage!
We are heading into a busy and exciting part of the season and are so proud of the growth, focus, and commitment we’re seeing from all of our dancers.
Please read all updates carefully as we move further into competition season.

📅 Team Meeting – March 31, 8–9 PM
• Mandatory for Comp & Elite
• Highly recommended for all other team families
• Must notify the studio if unable to attend
Check all dance shoes for correct fit/style 👟 (no incorrect or ill-fitting shoes!)
Costume Photos: April 4 📸 (NOT March 30)
Performance Team Update: Turn It Up Orlando ➡️ Believe Tampa (May 16–17) 🎉
Attendance is critical: no absences week-of or during competitions 🚨
Competition dates were given at the start of the year—please be sure all schools/activities have these dates to avoid preventable conflicts
Upcoming comps: Mar 27–28, Apr 10–11, Apr 17–19, Apr 24–26, May 8–10, May 16–17
🚨 TEAM MEETING – IMPORTANT 🚨
📅 Tuesday, March 31
⏰ 8:00–9:00 PM
This meeting is MANDATORY for Comp & Elite teams and highly recommended for all other team families.
If you are unable to attend, you must contact us in advance. Arrangements should be made to FaceTime with another team parent or trusted adult so you can still receive the information shared. This meeting will cover important seasonal updates and expectations moving forward.
👟 Shoes Check
We are still seeing some dancers in incorrect or ill-fitting shoes. Please take a moment this week to check all shoes and replace anything that no longer fits or isn’t the correct style for their routines. Proper shoes are essential for both safety and performance quality.
If you need new shoes, you can contact Premier Dancewear (407-962-6259). They can bring items directly to the studio for your dancer to try on and purchase. We’re also so excited that they will soon be opening a location right next door to us—we can’t wait! 🎉
📸 Costume Photos Update
Comp/Elite Team costume photos will be held on April 4.
Please note: this is a CHANGE from March 30. Make sure this updated date is on your calendar!
🎉 Performance Team Announcement
We will be replacing Turn It Up Orlando with Believe Tampa for the weekend of May 16–17. We’re excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to see our dancers on that stage!
📅 Attendance Expectations (Very Important)
As we move further into competition season, it is critical that we have full attendance:
- No missing dancers the week leading up to competitions
- No missing dancers on competition weekends
All competition dates were provided at the beginning of the season. These should be shared with schools, teachers, and any other extracurricular activities to ensure there are no preventable conflicts.
Our team relies on every dancer being present, prepared, and committed—thank you for helping us keep everything running smoothly!
🗓️ COMPETITIONS & EVENTS
We ask that all dancers keep the full week leading up to competition and the entire competition weekend free of conflicts. The week before is crucial for rehearsals—every dancer is an important part of the whole, and missing even one person impacts spacing, timing, and overall performance.
Competition weekends also require flexibility, as schedules can run earlier or later than expected. Just as importantly, these weekends are meant to be a time for dancers to celebrate their hard work, support their teammates, and build lasting memories together. They’ve put in the time and effort—this is their moment to shine and enjoy the experience as a team! Please do NOT try to fit anything else into the weekend if you can avoid it, as they need to be well-rested and focused!
