Team Auditions Are Coming!

We’re excited to kick off preparations for our 2026-2027 Team Season!

Whether you’re a current team member or interested in joining team for the first time, auditions are the first step in our placement process and a great way to learn more about the opportunities available at Esprit Performing Arts.

Audition Date & Times

Monday, June 29, 2026

Ages 5-8
4:00 PM-5:30 PM

Ages 9-12
5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Ages 13 & Up
7:00 PM-9:00 PM

Who Should Audition?

All returning and prospective Performance Team, Competition Team, and Elite Team dancers should plan to attend auditions on June 29.

Not sure which team might be the best fit? That’s okay! We encourage dancers to audition even if they are still deciding. Auditions are simply the first step in the process and give families a chance to learn more before making any final decisions.

As we move through the summer, families will have opportunities to learn more about our different team programs, schedules, commitment levels, performance opportunities, and expectations. Our goal is to help each dancer find the program that is the best fit for their goals, interests, and family schedule.

How Team Placement Works

At Esprit, team placement is not based on a single audition alone.

We look at:

• Audition performance
• In-class observations from the previous season and/or summer classes
• Work ethic and attitude
• Attendance and commitment
• Technique, performance quality, and overall readiness
• A family interview

This helps us get to know each dancer better and place them where they will be the most successful.

Dancers may be invited to join our Performance Team, Competition Team, or Elite Team programs based on their age, ability, goals, and readiness.

Can’t Make It?

We know summer schedules can be busy!

If your dancer is interested in team but cannot attend on June 29, please let us know. We will be happy to provide alternative options so they can still be considered for placement.

How to Register

To sign up for auditions:

Parent Portal → Enrollment → Summer 2026 → Scroll down until you see Auditions → Add → Enroll Directly → Finalize
