Costume Notes
📸 Costume Pictures Day!!!
All dancers are required to attend in order to be included in our yearbook group photos.
🗓 Wednesday, May 20th
Parents do not need to pay, and ALL DANCERS will receive individual pictures as well this year!
📸 Picture Day Schedule & Expectations 📸
Please arrive on time, fully ready with hair, makeup, tights, shoes, and your FIRST costume on.
🩰 4:00 PM – Ballet / Jazz / Lyrical
Arrive dressed in your Ballet costume first.
After ballet photos, dancers will change into their Jazz and then Lyrical costumes.
👟 6:00 PM – Tap / Hip Hop
Arrive dressed in your Tap costume first.
After tap photos, dancers will change into their Hip Hop costumes.
🏢 Dressing Room Information:
• Girls’ dressing rooms will be set up in our new space, Studio C.
• Boys will use the main studio center area and restrooms for changing.
✨ As all dancers will be participating in both group and individual photos, please expect to be at the studio for most of the evening.
Once the first group is fully present and ready, we’ll bring them into the studio for the group Ballet photo first. As dancers finish their individual photos in that costume, they’ll head back out to change into their next costume before returning for the next group and individual photos.
Please label all costumes, shoes, and accessories and keep belongings organized to help picture day run smoothly!
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through the evening. Please help us make the process run as smoothly and quickly as possible so we can all have a fun and successful picture day! 💕
👗 Costumes
Costumes will be coming soon!
Please make sure your dancer has the correct tights and shoes:
Tights:
- Ballet: Convertible Ballet Pink Capezio tights
- Other Styles: Check Your Costume Page
Shoes:
- Ballet: Ballet Pink Nikolay canvas shoes
- Tap: Danznmotion Slip-on Tap shoes
- Jazz: Jazz Paws
- HipHop: Check your Costume Page

💄 Hair & Makeup
- Hair: Center part, low bun
- Makeup: Normal stage makeup
- No jewelry, nail polish, or extra accessories (unless part of the costume)

📸 Costume Picture Day Reminders
ARRIVE EARLY with:
- Hair and makeup completely finished
- First costume already on
⏰ Please note: Times are approximate and we may run ahead or behind schedule.

- Hair: Low bun, center part
- Makeup:
- Neutral eyeshadow
- Black mascara & eyeliner
- Red lips
- Peachy-pink blush
- Boys: Blush + lip color required
👗 Costume Notes
Please come fully prepared with:
- All costumes
- Removed from bags
- Steamed if needed (no wrinkles!)
- Brought in garment bags to keep clean and protected
- No jewelry or nail polish
- Required for pictures, dress rehearsal, and recital
- (Optional: You may add jewelry for individual photos only)
- Correct shoes & tights
- Refer to previous costume notes/pages
- Please purchase any missing items before picture day
